Hey there! Thanks for dropping by to this little bookish blog.I hope you enjoy your visit. My name is Ashley and I was born, raised, and still reside in the Corn State's "City of Firsts." For those of you who have no idea what I am referring to, I live in Kokomo, Indiana. Where corn is aplenty, tractors make you late to work, and the most excitement you get is debating on which store to shop at, where to eat, what bar to go to, or whose garage the next country party will be at.
Tormented by the memories of his past, his childhood catching up to him as the sickness takes over. Ed brings his wife to where it all began more than 50 years ago. His loving wife has no idea that after 53 years, there are still secrets buried in the closet. This lake holds many secrets and Ed knows it’s time to tell Elizabeth the truth. But, can he live long enough to tell the tale? Or will the sickness take over?
